Why exhibit at a trade show?
21st April 2016
One of the main reasons to exhibit at a trade show is to meet and connect with new prospective customers, and ultimately make some sales. Exhibitions offer an unbeatable, cost effective opportunity for manufacturers and distributors to generate sales by presenting brands, products and services to a very relevant and captive audience in person. With the right preparation beforehand, a sales person can meet more customers and make new contacts in two days than they would usually meet in three months. If it wasn’t for trade shows, meeting new customers may be difficult as cold calling, and even getting a face-to-face appointment with a retailer can take months.
For those in the outdoor industry, a cost effective solution to reach new prospects would be to take a presence at the UK’s largest outdoor trade exhibition, the Outdoor Trade Show (OTS), which takes place from Wednesday 7th to Thursday 8th September at Stoneleigh Park, Warwickshire. Last year, OTS celebrated its 10th anniversary and hosted 133 exhibiting companies and 1277 unique trade visitors, who attended the show to check out the latest products and innovations across the industry. It ultimately provides a fantastic opportunity to see a wide variety of outdoor brands presenting clothing, footwear and accessory products in the exhibition halls, at the same time as allowing camping and caravanning retailers to browse through the hundreds of tents and caravan awnings on display outdoors.
