Cortez, Colo. – May 19, 2022 Osprey, a Helen of Troy brand, introduces its Spring 23 collection, which continues Osprey’s relentless drive to introduce, update and refine high-performing products across multiple categories; inspiring adventure of all kinds. This season we celebrate inclusivity, implement advanced recycled fabrics that drop weight and take a granular look at our hydration and accessories programs – all while continuing to meet our sustainability goals.

Lightening the load while raising the bar, we’ve added two premium pack series to our lightweight backpacking category. Lighter than its original counterpart the Atmos/Aura LT offers a more streamlined silhouette and a thoughtful simple feature set. While the Exos/Eja Pro—our lightest thru-hiking backpack —shaves almost one pound from our successful Exos/Eja Series. The Pro series offers category leading comfort, advanced strippability and highly ventilated AirSpeedTM suspension. Also in backpacking, we improve the fit and carry of Kestrel/Kyte; a true outdoor workhorse when it comes

to medium to long duration backpacking trips where carrying a large amount of gear is essential.

Within the hiking category we have updated our best-selling series Manta/Mira; offering a stable, highly ventilated suspension design this outstanding hydration daypack provides optimum performance on the trail. In addition to Manta/Mira, we relaunch our lightweight Hikelite series, which offers great value for its price point. For serious or casual day hikes, the new Hikelite combines essential features and quality construction with excellent ventilation at an incredible value.

We have completely updated our iconic Escapist bike series. For all day riding or multi-day adventures with plenty of kit, this pack is ideal for those who want to travel as far and as fast as their spirit and legs can take them. Alongside the new Escapist, we are excited to unveil Raptor

Pro. Built for rowdy riders, the Raptor Pro integrates the D30 CE Level 1 back protector to help absorb impact. Whether you’re shredding lift-served bike parks or logging long hours in the backcountry, the Raptor Pro has the capacity, ventilation, fit and stability to take lap after lap of punishment.

We reviewed every aspect of our Hydraulics system design to identify opportunities for improvements—redesigning, reshaping and updating with the goal of making it work better. With the new ergonomic handle design, the filling and carrying becomes easier and more comfortable. This all-new hydration system is featured in our bike packs and Skarab/Skimmer and Manta/Mira hiking packs.

This season we overhaul our accessories to allow for greater organisation,

protection and convenience. With sustainable, recycled PFC/PFAS-free DWR fabrics, new colours, reduced packaging and improved carry; we have everything covered, adding a new Hi-Vis Commuter Raincover, Window Dry Sacks, Ultralight Stuff Tote, Daylite Organiser Kits and all-new travel customisation pieces to the line.
